Welcome to Manuscript #18
What an exciting few months it has been at Bespoke British Pens, one of the highlights must be Gary Oldman winning an Oscar for his astounding performance as Winston Churchill in the Darkest Hour.
Engraving Service
Our 2 websites are continuing to be improved, and we have launched our Engraving Service - you can now order any pen with your name, initials, message or special date engraved for a small charge. We now offer a Gift Wrapping Service too.
Paypal Express
Also, remember on our www.bespokebritishpens.co.uk site you can pay in $US or € euros by clicking on the flag in the top right-hand corner, and prices have been reduced in these currencies in the last few months because of the exchange rates. In the shopping cart, you can check out with Paypal Express giving you a faster way to pay.
2-pen Leather Case
We also launched our 2-pen leather case which has some clever features and can hold the large Churchill and Winston pens as well as the smaller Series 58 and Dandys. Normally pen cases are either too small or too big, but with this Bespoke British calf leather case, you can hold two of your most prized pens whatever their size, safely and securely. And they are easy to retrieve, by pulling a tab your pen will magically glide out of the recess. Ingenious but simple. Here is a picture of the prototype pen case with my favorite car!
The Darkest Hour - award-winning Gary Oldman
The Gary Oldman winning an Oscar for his astounding performance as Winston Churchill in the Darkest Hour. In the film, he is seen using a Conway Stewart Churchill Classic Black and Gold fountain pen during his famous radio speech to the nation, and at the end of the speech he drops it and it slowly rolls across his script for dramatic effect. If they gave out Oscars for film props, then surely this Conway Stewart pen should have been nominated!
For now, Best Wishes
